I haven't really updated in awhile, so I suppose I should update now! Although the 2004 Boston Red Sox are World Series Champions, I felt as though the whole World Series was less exciting than the ALCS Championship. Oh well, not my problem I guess. I went to the football game last night, and all of the band kids were dressed up! BTW, nice costume Lyn! And so people all over were coming up to me saying it was nice to see me, a few people gave me hugs, and many people complimented on my looks! Now that was something that striked me as strange, because I haven't really changed. I saw Danielle Navish at the game too! She's a cool kid, and in all honesty, I've missed her quite a lot. However, I miss all of my good friends! I'm very much looking forward to Thanksgiving so I can catch up with some of them. Tomorrow is Halloween of course, I think I'm supposed to be hanging out with Allison, although I'm not positive about that... Maybe John too. Oh well, everything will work out for the best.
I just watched the Exorcist at Johnny K's house tonight, that kind of scared me, a lot. And for the most part, I realize that all horror films aren't real, however, this one was particullary frightening and real-like because the main character reminded me of my sister Sarah, which is very strange.
You know how sometimes you tell yourself that something will never happen? Like say you say you'll never like a person in a certain way ever again? Well, sadly for me, this isn't the case. It hit me about a day ago, and I've been thinking about her eversince, it's almost a tragic dilemma. I know for a fact that she's single, but for how long will that be? I want to act upon my insticts but, I'm nervous, and I know that ultimately I'll never get up the courage to say something because that's what I've always been like.
Oh well...
Well I suppose that's my update, not too interesting huh?

I just realized something very unfortunate, in two years I'll be 20 years old. And another thing, I really want to settle down with someone. But, I want to control myself and wait for someone to come to me. I don't want to go around looking for people like a dog would look for bones, I sincerely want to wait and see what happens. I mean sure, there are people at school who I am attracted to, but I'm not going to go up to them assuming they like me and be like "Hi, I'm Joe, do you want to go out with me?". No of course not, that would be a waste of time and very stupid. There is one though in my composition class, her name is Jen (Not to be confused with Jenn Hudon). She's really nice, she sits in front of me and we often talk about things of little relevance (Red Sox, school, work). Hahaha, today she was actually very tired because she didn't get her usual 5 hours of sleep. And I got my first 5 page paper back, I got an A. Haha, Jen was jealous because she got an A-, oh well.
Alright, so it's 2:50 according to my computer, and that is very wrong, so I think I'm going to get some dinner then proceed to do my "Technical Math" homework for tomorrow.

So tonight was the first football game of the high school season. I saw the band and talked to Allie and Mr. Parsons. The field show was outstanding and I loved it! But what I didn't like was when Eleni's mom came up to me and asked me "So Joe, how does it feel not playing in the band this year?". And at that point I felt like slapping her in the face. I felt sad that I wasn't in the band this year when I first heard DHS, but my sadness really didn't surface until she asked me that question. I responded politely and said "I'm indifferent to the fact that I'm not playing in the band" even though I felt like saying "Yeah, I'm really sad, does that make you feel better?". People can be just so rude and ignorant. There was really no need for that, what did she think? That I would be happy to be rid of the band? I loved the DHS band, and I made most of my friends there. And then the rest of the night and even right now, I'm feeling really upset and sad.
And even though Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings were hell sometimes, the overall experience of band was amazing. It was just stupid of her to say that and I wanted to make that quite clear. I could understand if she asked my mom that question when I wasn't around, but she said it directly to me in front of my parents. After I told her that I was indifferent to the fact, she just laughed. And that really did hurt me. Oh yeah, and this no way is directed to Eleni, nor does she have any part in this.

Well, my day was going pretty routine until I got a phone call from my Uncle John. He told me that he had 4 Red Sox tickets for tonights game against Detroit. And of course, I immediatley took the tickets off my Uncle's hands. So, it was myself, my dad, my sister and Colleen. I'm really glad she came, I hope she had a fun time. Haha, the kids who were sitting in front of us were funny... and very annoying. And I finally got a beach ball!!! Then after, me and Colleen hung out at my place for a little and we watched Big Fish... That was about it. I'm happy I got to spend time with her because, well, you know. And if you don't, do not bother asking... I just dropped her off a few minutes ago, and it was sad to see her leave. I hope her mom isn't mad at her... Oh well, that was my day, goodnight.

Applied for a job at Staples today. I filled out the written application before, then I had to fill out a computerized one at the store. The lady who was supervising me said that I should have no problem getting hired. Hmmm, I just have to wait for a call. I hope its soon because I want to get some $$$ :) I had a friend recommend me to the head manager, so, I think I'm pretty much in. Well, thats about it for now.
